The search engine optimization (SEO) manager is responsible for helping promote our mobile apps and improve its visibility in organic search results. He will contribute the majority of recommendations for improvement. They must have a strong grasp of core search techniques such as content strategy, blogging, link building, and technical analysis.

This person must understand the SEO strategy’s short and long-term goals and incorporate them into the appropriate SEO tactics.

Key Duties And Responsibilities Of The SEO Manager

  • Drive SEO/organic growth for our mobile apps through architectural, technical, and content creation and optimizations, executing on these strategies
  • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
  • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
  • Responsible for budget, goals, and KPIs of all organic search initiatives
  • Formulate and execute link building strategies
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare and interpret reports, and communicate actionable results, findings, and recommendations
  • Research and evaluate keywords, market behavior, trends and competitors to identify opportunities to maximize organic traffic


  • Minimum 3 years experience managing SEO programs for mobile apps
  • Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and handle other duties as assigned
  • Familiar with multiple keyword research, reporting, and link building tools
  • Comfortable with platforms including Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Moz, and other SEO related platforms.
